Change in Biovision’s Management Board: Andreas Schriber, Co-founder and Managing Director of the Biovision Foundation for Ecological Development, will hand over operational responsibility for the foundation to his designated successor Dr. Frank Eyhorn. Eyhorn will serve as Managing Director as of January 1, 2020.
Dr. Frank Eyhorn’s expertise in designing sustainable nutrition systems and his long-term experience in sustainable development cooperation align with Biovision’s values. Both personally and professionally, with a doctorate in natural sciences and a well-developed network and career, Eyhorn is excellently suited to take over the future of our well-positioned organization and maintain and further develop our partnerships. Our solid management team and a highly professional, competent team of around 40 employees will be supporting him.
As designated Managing Director, Frank Eyhorn will continue to implement the current strategy 2016-2020’s three focus themes: development projects in Africa; policy dialogue & advocacy for sustainable food systems; and Switzerland’s responsibility for the implementation of Agenda 2030.
He will lead the Foundation into the next strategic development phase.
New strategic functions for Andreas Schriber
Andreas Schriber took up the position as CEO in 2003. Since then Biovision has continued to develop: under his prudent and determined leadership, Biovision has become an innovative, sustainable development organization with a clear mission, impressive track record and a solid network of partners.“I am very much looking forward to continuing to work with him strategically in the future to further develop our original vision”, says Biovision President Hans Herren.
Andreas Schriber informed about his intention for a professional change in the Biovision newsletter in March: “I am changing ship but not fleet”
