“At Biovision, I can make a small contribution towards a liveable future for all. I find its holistic strategy of targeting the health of people, animals, nature and the environment combined with the dissemination of knowledge to be both effective and forward-looking”.
Anna studied agricultural sciences with a focus on plants and the diseases affecting them. During her time in Berlin she worked on several research projects looking at organic farming. However, her openness and natural curiosity led her to a career in communication and more recently Anna worked as a journalist and editor for various journals and publishers. During this period, she also gained considerable experience in web marketing and social media.
During a 7-month trip world trip, Anna gained first-hand experience of the problems facing those living in developing countries. During a stay of several weeks on an Australian permaculture farm, she also encountered an approach that sought to solve those problems. “I was very impressed by a subsistence-based approach that combined all living elements in a single system”. So, it is no surprise that Anna is a great fan of urban gardening and you will find a wide range of plants growing on her patio.
Anna has been with Biovision since August 2014 and is responsible for the website. She works closely with all departments and is always on the lookout for fascinating stories and photos. She is also the Biovision press contact and deploys a wide range of measures and strategies to raise the profile of Biovision’s activities and projects.
Physical exercise plays a major role in Anna’s free time. She enjoys walking, surfing and working out on the Vita Parcours fitness trails – the main thing is to be outdoors. For relaxation she enjoys trying out new recipes at home and is an avid music fan – particularly of the alternative music scene.
