“Cabesi" is a project to promote the production and marketing of local honey. It is helping local people diversify their sources of income and expand their knowledge of honey production.

The current phase of the project will focus on bee health and placing the project in the hands of local people. A monitoring system will be established in order to increase understanding of the diseases and pests affecting bees and so protect beekeepers from loss of income.
