When Marion Trinks says that she has a privileged post, she is referring to the issues that Biovision tackles. „I greatly value the fact that I can work with people who all get involved for a good cause.“ Marion Trinks has already been able to gather such experiences at some workplaces. After a commercial apprenticeship resulting in qualification from vocational training college, Marion worked in the hotel business, in the textile sector and in a firm for medical goods. But her goal was always a job with an animal or environmental protection organisation. To this end she had to move from East to West Switzerland: in the year 2000 she was discovered by a firm in Zürich, which specialises in the communication and application of ecological projects. Over three years as assistant to the CEO she made sure that the books added up, as well as many other things. After that came the move to Biovision. Marion Trinks possesses a certain persistence when dealing with computers, which stands her in good stead when it comes to supervising the 30,000 (and growing) donator addresses in the Biovision-Database. Alongside her computer skills Marion Trinks has an excellent command of languages, which she has acquired through language courses and travel in England, France, Ticino and Australia. As a balance to working life Marion sings: she is the lead singer of a folk-rock group and has sung on stage and even in an Irish recording studio.
